America’s Islamic Heritage Museum accepts donations of artifacts and archival material for its
collection. Each donation must be reviewed and determined whether it meets AIHM collection
needs, falls within the Museum’s mission, and is approved by the museum’s collections
management committee, a committee of the Board of Directors.
CSAM’s -AIHM’s mission is to preserve America’s Islamic legacy and contributions by collecting,
archiving, and displaying artifacts and information about America’s rich Islamic history,
including the extensive history of African American Muslims. Our mission with America’s Islamic
Heritage Museum is to provide exhibits, cultural, and educational programming, and Museum
services for the public in the United States and the world community, to help address the
growing challenges of our complex and diverse country and world.
The Museum cannot accept unsolicited material dropped off at the Museum or unsolicited
material sent through the mail. Donations can only be dropped off at the Museum or curatorial
office after written confirmation with a Curator or the Registrar.

out the attached form and someone will contact you shortly about the next possible steps.
Please note, currently, AIHM is not accepting artifacts for loan – but only full donations.
Artifacts accepted into the collection are not guaranteed to be on display.
